We are seeking an individual with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have impeccable organizational skills who are also motivated by designing the finest kitchens, bathrooms and closets while producing significant sales in our showrooms. Your ability to maintain a positive mindset and adapt to the day's tasks as events unfold is essential.

Qualifications to include a minimum of:

  • Three years of retail experience
  • Two years of kitchen design and sales experience
  • Experience in selling kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and components
  • High level of competence with 2020 design software
  • Excellent social skills
  • First rate selling and closing skills
  • Strong desire to be first in customer service
  • Artistic eye to create both traditional and contemporary designs
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous, time sensitive projects with a positive attitude.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, a good driving record and the ability to visit job sites in the area.
  • Background in the remodeling industry is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year based on experience and sales goals.

Experience: 2020 design skills: 2 years (Preferred)

Showroom Coordinators - Design Showroom | Reading, MA

As the Showroom Coordinator, you will be a key support component to the showroom team.

You will be supporting the team, learning the business, growing your skills, and be on an internal growth path within the company.

You'll support the manager and showroom design team to ensure efficiencies across all facets of the showroom.


  • Previous experience in showroom coordination, customer service, customer support or similar experience/role
  • Strong customer focus

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in decorative plumbing sales, tile sales, kitchen/bath sales or interior design a plus

  • Showroom Operations: Monday - Sunday - Position is full-time; 40-hour work week - overtime available.

  • Greet & qualify all customers coming in
  • Answer phones & assist callers
  • Manage  Showroom Calendar
  • Communicate with staff
  • Work with manager & staff to monitor showroom maintenance
  • Monitor, organize, and maintain showroom samples, literature & printed assets
  • Assist staff with vendors by checking on POs, delivery status, obtaining information, etc.
  • Organize and maintain back office
  • Assist customers with tasks such as: Taking a payment, Checking order status, Smaller transactional sales (accessories, etc.)
  • Assist with sample requests for projects
  • Assist staff & customers with return process
  • Create Spec Books for Designers
  • Create Mood Boards, Customer Presentations, & Sample Boxes for Designers
  • Create contracts for design services
  • Assist designers with plans & elevations using applicable design software (ie, 2020, Closet Pro, Cabinet Vision, Counter Go) including adding color/accessories/decorative items, details & notes, creating perspectives, etc.
  • Help store manager with daily agenda & keeping associates on schedule as requested
  • Order supplies for showroom
  • Prepare the showroom for opening and closing
  • Turn on/off lighting, clean and maintain active displays, clear samples & prepare work surfaces for the next business day, etc.
  • Attend & complete all trainings offered – incl online & in-person
  • Attend field measures & site visits with designers as requested
  • Attend events as requested – in-house & off-site - Assist with execution of in-house events as requested

  • High School or equivalent (Preferred )
  • Sales: 1 year minimum (Preferred)
  • Direct Customer Contact: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Interior Design experience/knowledge a plus but not required
  • General computer proficiency is a must
  • At least one years experience in retail sales
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physically able to be on your feet and move throughout showrooms over an extended period
  • A strong work ethic and dependability a must

Job Details/Responsibilities:

  • Approaching and engaging customers directly
  • Walk around  engaging with customers and educating them on the awesome Closets and custom home storage solutions
  • Demonstrating products on display
  • Keeping showroom neat and tidy during the day and at the start and end of each day
  • Generate sales leads and schedule **FREE** in-home appointments for customers with one of our Designers
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times with both customers and co-workers
  • Attending, participating and contributing to training workshops to maintain and enhance skill levels and product knowledge
  • Entering all sales in our system properly and reviewing with customer 100% of the time to ensure accuracy
  • Engage with customers through relationship selling and a full knowledge of all our products and services

Compensation Structure:

We offer an hourly wage growth path available to interested candidates.


Flexible schedule

Additional Shifts Available:

10am thru 7pm, Monday through Thursday!
10pm thru 8pm, Friday  and Saturday !
11-6 sunday

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
